River View Retreat - Both Ocean and River Views

A "Retreat" is exactly what this home offers. You will feel like you have just been to one after your stay here.
River View Retreat is in the perfect location. Situated high up on the hill this two storey offers views from both upstairs and down. This well presented holiday home sleeps up to 9 people and is the perfect place to enjoy with either your family or as a friends getaway.

After a day spent either hanging at the beach or cruising the river come home and enjoy a sundowner on the upstairs enclosed balcony. This is perfect during any season as it is surrounded by windows which can either be opened or closed depending on the conditions.

Upstairs also consists of a large entertaining area where you can hang out comfortably and challenge each other to a game of pool, your favourite board game, table soccer or or just chill on the couch and take a load off.

Downstairs also offers plenty of room to hang out with its large kitchen and dining area.

The home consists of 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 consists of 1 x queen bed, bedroom 2 has 1 x queen bed and the third has 2 x sets of bunks and 1 x double.
Air conditioning, Nespresso coffee machine (byo pods)

Property Strictly sleeps 9. Sorry No Pets, This property will not take school leaver bookings or under 25 adults groups. No Tents, Caravans or Camper Trailers allowed at property .Check in time is 2 pm unless prior arrangement has been made.

Start by walking along the Guilderton boardwalk and enjoy our spectacular beaches.
Take a towel and have a dip in the Moore River or the Indian Ocean.
Practice kayaking canoeing, splashing and playing in the water, windsurfing, boating, photography, bird watching, climbing, collecting sea shells,building sand castles, treasure hunts, beach volleyball, or simply comb the beach for free craft supplies.
Pack a hamper and spend the day or a balmy evening with good company at the gas fired free barbecues under the trees and enjoy the river mouth view. Mother nature is often in action and occasionally the mouth of the river sandbar opens to the sea.
Swing the clubs on one of the most picturesque 9 hole golf courses in WA. For family fun day out enjoy a game of mini golf.
Paddle, kayak or canoe up the Moore River
Test your sand board skills at the sand hills.
Enjoy majestic sunsets over the Indian ocean.
Hang out the rods for some serious beach or reef fishing or catch some Bream in the River.

  What an amazing location and the view from the upstairs enclosed deck for morning coffee or afternoon vino is superb. The house itself was very clean and smelled wonderful. The upstairs games room was excellent. The only downside was no TV reception with cricket on. The kitchen is well equipped and plenty of room for families. Kristen is always available for any enquiries and all the staff are friendly. We've already booked this property again love it.

  Very happy with our experience with CVHH and this amazing home. We didnt speak to or see the property manager at all, but received texts with all the information required leading up to and during our stay. We stay in Guilderton yearly and this was our best stay ever! The house was very clean and nice smelling. The view from the kitchen window and upstairs balcony was so beautiful and special to wake up to every morning. I felt so calm and peaceful just staring out at the river view. The house had everything required to make our stay comfortable and as easy as home. We did a bit of cooking but ate out a lot from the cafe and roadhouse, both of which make great food. We would and have already recommended this house to friends and family and we will definitely be back.

  We recently stayed at a lovely holiday house in Moore River for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house offered stunning views of the river, which was just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. One of the highlights was the pool table, which provided hours of entertainment for the whole family. The house itself was well-equipped and comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
  
  The only downside was that the landscaping could use some attention, as the garden was quite overgrown, and there were weeds throughout. However, this didn’t detract too much from the overall experience, and we would certainly consider returning for another stay.

  Wonderful views & lovely big house comfy beds in 2 main rooms.Big open kitchen & family room.However lots of TLC needed missing parts of taps in shower & bathroom- windows upstairs need a clean- no basic pantry & coffee machine not there as advertised and was only informed the next day (sat) that it wasnt being replaced after I bought the pods for it.Only 1 small freezer other one not working.Cant move the BBQ out of the wind as its chained to the wall.Screen door kept coming off the tracks downstairs still lots of lightbulbs not working .I feel like all these little things add up to be very annoying & can ruin your stay.Maintenace is very lacking.

  The house was amazing, more than we could ask for! Upstairs was great, we had lots of fun playing pool and tablesoccer. The views were outstanding and what was promised on site description. Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen all had ample space
  Only problems with the property was the outside lights don’t work so was hard to use the bbq for dinner, and the front door flywire screen was very hard to lock and unlock.

  Nice place and location.
  Some things to get repaired or addressed.
  1.Glass house room is very hot and wind doesn't get through the steel fly screens so we spent our time on the below balcony. the House aircon works well so maybe extend some ducting to that front glass house room.
  2. the coffee pot machine doesn't work, it won't pierce the pods.
  3.the Oven has an element under the base steel plate and while cooking pizza for my daughter the steel base plate was glowing red hot and had a steel enamel burning smell. (Safety Hazard) needs addressing ASAP
  4. the outside lights on the below balcony don't work or need new globes.
  5. the driveway had large pot hots at the bottom.
  
  other than the above list which are easy fixes it was a nice holiday house.

  We had wonderful family holiday at this lovely home. The things I would suggest is to renovate the 3rd bedroom as it's a bit old and dark there & also change the 2nd shower head.
